No. Once you approve the written quote, that's the number. If during the repair we find something else (a second weak spring, a worn cable on the other side, a hidden panel crack), we stop, show you, quote it separately, and only proceed if you approve. You authorize every line.

Same-day in most cases. A broken spring is one of our most frequent calls. Don't try to operate the door manually - the spring carries 100+ pounds of stored tension and is the most dangerous part on the door. We replace the spring (single or matched pair), test balance, and have the door cycling again, usually within an hour on-site.

We almost always recommend the matched pair, even if only one snapped. The other spring has the same age and cycle count and is usually months from failing. Doing both in one visit keeps the door balanced and means the next break won't happen with your car trapped inside.
